Teez AI Underwriting is an Excel add-in that reads commercial real estate deal documents and fills your underwriting model. If something isn't working, or you're not sure how to do something, contact us directly — a person reads every message.

What to include in your message

The more of this you can give us, the faster we can resolve it:

• The email address on your Teez account.
• Which Excel you're using — Windows, Mac, or Excel on the web — and the version if you know it.
• What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
• A screenshot of the task pane, if there's an error on screen.
• The deal or file name involved, if the issue is specific to one.

Response times

• Standard: within one business day, Monday to Friday.
• Add-in won't load, or you can't sign in: we treat these as urgent and aim to respond same business day.

Installing the add-in

Teez runs inside Excel on Windows, Mac, and the web. Once installed, you'll find Teez Underwriting on the Home tab of the Excel ribbon. Select it to open the task pane and sign in with your Teez account.

If your organisation manages Office add-ins centrally, your IT administrator may need to approve or deploy Teez before it appears for you. Point them at this page, or have them contact support@teez.live and we'll help with the deployment.

Common issues

The task pane is blank or won't load

This is almost always a network restriction. The add-in needs to reach addin.teez.live and app.teez.live over HTTPS. If you're on a corporate network, ask your IT team to allow both. Restarting Excel after a network change is usually needed.

The Teez button isn't on the ribbon

Close and reopen Excel. If it's still missing, the add-in may not have finished installing, or an administrator policy may be blocking it. Contact us and we'll work out which.

Sign-in isn't working

Confirm you're using the same email address you registered with. You can reset your password from the Teez web app. If the reset email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then contact support.

A number in my model looks wrong

Every figure Teez writes is traceable to its source in the underlying document. Open the activity view in the task pane to see where a number came from. If a value is genuinely wrong, please report it with the deal name — extraction accuracy is the core of the product and we treat these as high priority.

Accounts, billing and cancellation

Teez has a free tier and paid plans; Deep Underwriting is priced per deal. See Pricing for current details. To change your plan, request a refund, or close your account and have your data deleted, email support@teez.live.

Reporting a security issue

If you believe you've found a security vulnerability, email security@teez.live rather than raising it publicly. We'll acknowledge within one business day.
